Welcome to PLB Consulting

PLB Consulting was originally founded to provide personal and leadership effectiveness training to people working in non-profit sectors. We conduct our work in more than 30 countries, and we work with some of the largest international humanitarian organisations and agencies.

Our approach to training and facilitation is 'serious fun'. Serious fun is not about cutesy games, bells and whistles. It's about creating learning contexts that deal with real issues in ways that engage people on many levels and that help them find solutions that work for them. We blend the most recent cognitive and neuro-scientific findings to create brain friendly activities involving the whole mind and body.

Pamela is supported by associates in Switzerland, UK and USA. The associates who work with us, although bringing a different mix of experience and qualifications, all share our beliefs and approach.

We apply our skills and knowledge in 3 areas: Training, facilitation and consulting

Training:

We have several core training programmes in personal effectiveness, team development and leadership. We also customize and tailor other events according to client's needs.

We offer our products in a variety of business models that meet the demands of our clients for intense residential events or short interventions to ongoing conferences and workshops. We create stand alone workshops, and also offer a range of blended approaches that combine workshop training with coaching and mentoring and in follow-up practice.

Facilitation

Our facilitators are certified by the International Association of Facilitators. We facilitate group decision making and work with teams of all descriptions: new teams, merging teams, dysfunctional teams, executive teams; teams who have to plan roll outs for project implementation, teams who must collaborate across functions. We also work with large multi-stakeholder groups in setting strategy and direction for regional or global initiatives.

Consulting:

We support organizations in learning or transfer of knowledge initiatives: designing the programmes and preparing resource persons for conferences, compulsory training programmes across the globe, or major change initiatives related to restructuring or the introduction of a new ERP and business systems.

Regardless of the topic or content we work across subject matter expertise to ensure that the design and delivery of knowledge transfer initiatives are Relevant, Engaging, Enjoyable and most importantly Successful
